Do you offer service for both residential and commercial customers?
Yes. We provide a full service for residential and commercial customers needing temporary or long-term storage.
How long is the lease for?
Our leases are established on a monthly basis. They automatically renew until you inform us of cancellation. Cancellation of contract requires 14 days notice.
How am I charged if I move in part way through a month?
Your storage fees will be pro-rated on a per day basis for the remaining days of the month you move in. The full month charge will begin on the first day of each month thereafter.
Are there any restrictions on the goods I may store?
Yes. We do not allow the storage of animals, plants, foods, garbage, liquids, hazardous materials, illegal items or odorous goods.
Does NW Storage Solutions Ltd. charge by the month or for a 28-day cycle?
We charge for a one-month period. In January, your rent will cover 31 days and in June, it will cover 30. Though this may seem obvious, many competing facilities charge for 28-day months. All those missing days force customers to pay for a 13th month of rent every year. We charge on the basis of calender months.
Do you offer vehicle storage?
We do not offer storage of cars, boats or other vehicles.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept MasterCard® and Visa®
Can I pay my bills online?
You can pay through e-transfers.
What are the access hours?
The access hours are 24/7.
What are the office hours?
Our office is open from 8:00AM - 9:00PM 7 days a week for phone calls.
What’s the difference between office hours and access hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the manager. During these hours the Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs and any questions or concerns. The access hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed.
Can anyone go onto the property?
Only customers with an access code can enter the property in the Hazelton facility. In Smithers and Burns Lake there is no access key or gate.
Have you ever had a customer complain about burglary?
No. We have never had a customer complain about burglary.
Are my goods insured with NW Storage Solutions Ltd?
If you already have home insurance, you may be able to transfer your existing insurance policy to the storage unit. Or you can obtain storage insurance from an insurance broker. We do not insure your belongings for any kind of loss.
What sizes are available?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 15 square feet, to 168 square feet.
Do you have moving supplies for sale on site?
No, unfortunately we do not offer this service.
Is your facility climate controlled?
Our facility in Smithers has some units that can be heated for an extra fee. Burns Lake and Hazelton do not.
